From an early age, Dr. Chenying Yang learned the value of proper vision care. She was nearsighted and with the help of an optometrist in her hometown of Westville, OK, Dr. Yang saw the difference sharp vision can make in life. It was then that she knew a career in optometry was the path for her. She graduated with honors from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK with a degree in organismic biology and proceeded to graduate with a doctorate of optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL. Dr. Yang completed an ocular disease residency at the Veterans Affairs clinic in Fayetteville, AR and joined the Triad Eye Institute team in 2022. Today, she provides care to patients with ocular disease and takes part in pre and post-operative care. Dr. Yang is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, doing DIY projects and spending time with her family. She and her husband reside in Gentry, AR.
